About Sean Clark

Why Am I Running?

My family and I have called West Vincent home for three years, and in that time, we quickly became involved in our community. I regularly attend the monthly Supervisors meetings. I am a member of the Environmental Advisory Council, and I participate in service and educational events. My wife, Dawn, is also contributing as a member of the Open Space Review Board. Through these experiences, I've had the chance to connect with many of you, both long-time residents and those who are newer to the township.

I'm an energetic, working father with two young children. This isn't a pastime for me; it's about ensuring a bright future for my family and yours. I have a real stake in making sure our roads are safe, our community stays vibrant, our privacy is respected, and our tax dollars are used effectively, both now and for the long haul.

As a relative newcomer, I've been impressed by West Vincent's thoughtful approach to conservation and managing development. I share the community's vision for a sustainable future. However, there’s always room to improve, and that requires active participation. I’ve already rolled up my sleeves and I’m ready to get to work for you.

My Goals As Supervisor

I'm an active listener and I’d like to hear your thoughts on what's working and what needs change. You can message me through this website.  Here are issues that many of our neighbors have said are important to them that I have supported and will be supporting as supervisor:

  •  Protecting our natural spaces
  •  Limiting urban sprawl
  •  Improving traffic and pedestrian safety and road quality
  •  Keeping local tax rate down
  • Being fiscally responsible
  • Establishing a clear, efficient, respectful line of communication between the township and residents, HOA's, and other organizations.
  • Promoting transparency
  • Ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of ordinances
  • Listening to and respecting all residents

My Professional Background

I am the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of a mid-size marketing agency that serves clients nationally. I lead staff, develop budgets, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and collaborate with subject matter experts in service of our clients and our agency’s success. The fast-paced environment demands respecting opinions, thoughtful deliberation, and expertise invaluable to my service in West Vincent.

  • 25+ years in marketing and communications
  • 10+ years in leadership/management roles
  • Extensive leadership and management training
  • Responsible for budgets and P&L
  • Cross-functional leader and respected mentor
  • Proven process and communication skills
  • Creative thinker and innovative problem solver
  • Bachelor’s degree from Temple University

What Would You Like To See Happen In West Vincent?

I have spent the last few months talking with residents to see what they think is going well in our township, and what they would like to see done differently.  I would like to share my list with you here.  If you would be interested in sharing your list with me, contact me below or email me at SeanClarkWestVincent@gmail.com

What I Believe Is Going Well

There has been no township tax increase in the last 8 years.

Our ordinances have been updated to limit development.

Public reporting of financials, meeting minutes, and agendas has been improved

A cell tower was installed at the township building to improve cell service AND create income for the township

Instead of using taxpayer money, grants are applied for and grant money is used for many projects

Our police department is outstanding

The Fellowship Trail is being built, Opalanie Park improvements are underway, and a new parking lot is being planned for Cooks Glen Park and Trail

The township has many active and dedicated volunteers serving on 12 committees and subcommittees, improving our community and saving tax payer money

The supervisors regularly hold public meetings for education and open discussion of issues

There is a new township no-knock list to prevent unwanted solicitation in the township

The supervisors continue to preserve open space through the purchase and donation of development rights and conservation easements, keeping our township taxes lower and extra cars off the road

What I Would Like to Improve

A clear, efficient, and respectful line of communication and cooperation between the township and residents, HOA's, and organizations

Township staff stability/reporting structure & communication

Improve impact and participation of volunteer committees

Support Agriculture, especially regenerative agriculture
